Question

Sukoshis, I don't know if he remembers me or not. I would guess not, as his stay last time was brief. But he certainly has no problem making himself at home. I found him buried under the blanket in the chair this morning. So cute. Responding now to his new name, and gave a big neighborhood dog a bit of mouth (bark) for trying to get in his face while peeing.
I do have a question for you all...
Lots of food is going in, in small amounts, but NOTHING is coming out the other end. Lots of good urinating going on, no vomiting, but no poop either. He seems more relaxed, not agitated. Any idea where all this food is going?
He is going to my vet this afternoon for a workup, so I will mention this to her. It is just startling to have this happen, as the big dog is like clockwork with #2.
Maybe the shock of all the changes?
Any insight is appreciated.
Stannie slept thru the night, with no accidents. He seems a bit more alert and involved today, but still is a bit "standoffish". And that is OK. I am letting him take his time, and giving lots of love in-between.
