When Logan was a puppy he slept in a cage in the guest bedroom, we covered the cage with a blanket & left the radio on. He was never great, but would be quiet most of the night after the 1st 2 weeks. During the day he stayed in a playpen in the living room. after a few months we decided to try letting sleep in the playpen in the living rather then the cage. The playpen is right outside our bedroom door. He's been the perfect angle since. I think he felt like he didn't know what was going on when he was so separated from us. Now he knows he can go to sleep cause we are asleep too & not having fun without him. So if it works for everyone to have the cage in the bedroom then I say go for it.
