the gentle leader is an excellent tool if used properly. The behaviorist at my hosp did a demonstration about them. She put it on a 8 month old hyper rottie pup and within minutes the dog was not jumping or pulling on the lead anymore. i was amazed. We tell all our clients with orthopedic patients who are hyper to buy one and start using it immediately. we've seen it work wonders. I will say that i haven't seen one be used on a something as small as a yorkie but it will probably still work just as well.
