I have been lurking and enjoying reading posts on this website for over three weeks and have not posted yet but I must reply to this one. I purchased a precious male yorkie from Betty the first of November and have been more than pleased. I am the Practice Manager at a vets office in Knoxville and done a lot of research before deciding where to buy a puppy. I already own one Yorkie so know a little about the breed. I got her name from the Tennessee Valley Kennel club as a recommended breeder. I have worked in the vet business for 11 years and believe me I have seen it all. She was very helpful on the phone when I called. Did not tell me what she had to offer but asked what I wanted in a puppy. I made an appointment and went to her place. She did not hesitate to take me into her kennel and let me look at and play with the puppies so I could make a choice. She appears to love all her dogs and they were all very clean and well taken care of. I have recommended her to several of our clients and in fact my puppy's brother was in our clinic today to be neutered. The original poster asked for a reference and a reference is usually given by someone who has had first-hand experience with the person. |
