He is drinking lots, and peeing tons (outside, I am happy to say). No leash needed...I just stand out there with him, he does not stray more than a few feet, and then he trucks right back to the door to (literally) leap inside. Then back to his chair for a nap. I got a few licks, and he is not shaking anymore when I pick him up.
I am not going to wait until Friday, but rather take him in tomorrow morning to go for the vet check up. His scratching seems to have decreased over the day, but I want him to get all his shots, a check up, and get that coat and skin checked out. The vet he was taken to this morning is not my vet, and I don't like them much (having been there once before). My vet is calm, quiet, and has a beautiful facility. So off to the vet for Stannie tomorrow.
I am very happy right now. He seems to appreciate that he does not have to be out in the pouring rain we are having at the moment, and I am glad he is here!
