A friend of ours who has cats was tossing Otis up in the air one time, and we had to tell him, "DUDE!!! He's a DOG! Dogs have different spinal systems than cats do! You can hurt him."
I guess since Yorkies are the same size as cats, people automatically think they can treat them the same.
