Tucker is big at around 5.5 lbs and Molly is tiny at under 2.5 lbs and I worry about him hurting her. I was careful to introduce them slowly and from behind baby gates, ex-pen and stuff with short play times together, but it has been almost a month now. Will they have to live in separate rooms forever?
Aack! What do I do?

I got the book THE LOVED DOG for Christmas. We also got a 10 week old puppy. Sadie is now almost 16 weeks and chewy is a year and half. Chewy is 5.2 pounds Sadie is 2.6. I NEVER SEPERATE THEM EVER, and they get along fine. They sleep together, and wrestle together and eat together. This book says let them wrestle. They are figureing out the pecking order. It also says not to correct the older dog if they nip at the younger... It is teaching the pup manners. I have found this to be true although if I see my older dog correct for no good reason I let him know i'm not happy!
To be honest, Sadie is harder on Chewy then Chewy ever thought of being to her. If it gets to rough some one lets out a yelp and every one backs off! You may want to let them work it out and see how it goes. It is hard to watch them play like this but you can tell when they are playing.
