I also brought my new puppy girl a month ago. My 2 year yorkie boy wasn't agreesive to her, but very shy. He doesn't like any other dogs at all, and he never played with other dogs.

In the first week, I would played with my boy more, he soon understood that the new girl did not take away his spot in his mommy's heart. Then I started play fetch (my boy's favorite's game) together with the new girl. After a many times, my boy understood that they could play together. I gave a treat each time he played with her, and I praised him like crazy. Although they are still not like buddies, sleeping or bundle together, I see progress everyday. They now run after each other a few times per day, I was so happy the first time I saw that; I literally had tears in my eyes.

Give lots of treats when your baby plays with the new pup. They will catch on what you like and what you don't very soon. Keep praising crazily if they do something good. Give them some time, they wil eventually play and live together.
