Tucker is big at around 5.5 lbs and Molly is tiny at under 2.5 lbs and I worry about him hurting her. I was careful to introduce them slowly and from behind baby gates, ex-pen and stuff with short play times together, but it has been almost a month now. Will they have to live in separate rooms forever?
Aack! What do I do?
Thanks a bunch! |
This sounds just like our Crosley & Wrigley! We have had Wrigley almost 1 1/2 yrs ( she's 5lbs ) and Crosley is almost 6 and 15lbs. They wrestle, growl fight over toys alot of the time, BUT... it always warms my heart when I catch them laying butt to butt or side by side and occasionally giving each other kisses! We don't have to separate them, but we just break up the fights that escalate! Just give them time, I think they grow on each other more as time goes by and they know you are giving them equal love and attention and know they aren't being replaced! Just have patience!!
