i had toby on puppy pads inside....... he was okay at it, but then i got sick of teh "misses" and i booted the pad out on the balcony..... now he is 100% trained........ at my moms house he goes outside (he really doesnt care where he goes as long as he knows which spot is his.......lol)
There is no cut and dry way to train...... there are guidlines, but i think it varies from dog to dog, the one thing that is universal is lots of praise and treats
