If her two dogs weren't up to date on their rabies shots and of course they wouldn't know if the stray was, there is a state law that requires that the dogs either be destroyed or quarantined for six months, then inoculated for rabies, watched for a month, then released. The owner has to pay for the cost of the quarantine so maybe that is why she is debating whether or not to put them down? |
i am not totally sure of her situation. I was assuming it may have been the stray she took in. I have been trying to get a hold of her all day but she is not replying so I will keep trying. I think she is traumatized by the situation. And I pray she is ok.
