Well since he is not marking but actually just peeing in the band, I would stop using it.
I would go to crate training to get him trained.
Take him out of his crate and take him outside. Don't let his feet touch the floor otherwise you are just giving him a chance to pee.
Stay outside with him for a maximum of 10 minutes. Any longer than that he will forget what he is really outside for. If he doesn't go bring him back inside and put him in the crate. Take him out again in another 10 minutes.
Keep doing this until he finally goes. When he does go outside praise and reward him. And now because he went outside he can run around in the house. This will teach him that he has to go potty outside before he gets the privilege of being allowed to play and run about in the house. |
