Awww Mary, this was such a sweet post. How nice of you to explain everything but I am so sorry that you were scared to tell the whole story right from the beginning, although it's not like I don't understand why
Sometimes people here do get "jumped on" for things, and I think we as humans are alot of times too quick to judge others. However in your case, you were only trying to do what your heart felt was right...and I have to admit, if I was put in your situation, I probably would of done the exact same thing. I think it would have been heart wrenching for any one of us here to just close our eyes and walk away, especially on such an AWFUL situation - knowing what we were leaving behind
Please don't feel badly about anything and yes you DO deserve our friendship
You are a great person and just the kind of member that we love and need here - one who desperately loves and cares for animals
