I totally agree with this. I don't give a rat's (you-know-what) where someone gets their dog; as long as they're giving it a good home and not knowingly encouraging substandard or subhuman breeding practices. I think it was very brave of you to go back to someone you'd bought your dog from and turn them in once you realized what was going on. Lots of people don't know any better when they get their first puppy, so don't feel bad. You did a good thing and it's really not anyone's business where your dog came from, IMO.
