Over the years I have heard several instances of Yorkies killing other Yorkies. One breeder told me a story that she had a beautiful little male and she let a friend of hers borrow him to breed to her female. Unfortunately the male and female were left alone and the female killed the little male. My advise is that if your have a dog that is aggressive toward other dogs then it should be kept away from other dogs, it does not matter the size. It just hurts to think that such sweet little dogs would do such a thing but it is just a fact of life. Sometimes it happens. People just need to know that is can happen and use caution when introducing new dogs or when keeping dogs in a pack environment. |
