What I did was take Bandit each time I bought a new dog which was my late Yorkie Scoobydo, so I let them play for one hour to see how the fit it, if it wasnt a good match I wont take the dog. Same with Bijou they linched to each other immediately and sweetly no aggression even tho they are two males in tact. Sometimes you have to do it so. Then when i got home I kept bandit with the hubby outside and then introduced the new home to the new puppy where he got to explore the home and sniff at everything, it seemed to have worked
