Alex is here and wants to say hello

I just wanted to tell you all how honored we are to have prople like you in our lives, keeping us in your prayers while in labour

Ok, here is the story...
My proper contractions stated about 1:30 in the morning on sunday(UK time) and they were coming every 4 minutes, so I have called the hospital and they told me to go in.When I arrived there, they have checked me over and they told me I was ONLY 1.5 CM DILATED.OMG...I thought I was gonna die. They said that since the contractions are so close together and I lived 40-50 minutes away from the hospital, I'll be able to stay at the hospital.My contractions were sooooooooo painfull and all the time I kept thinking that I will do it with only gas and air. 14 Hours in the labour I was 9.5 cm dilated but after anther 3 hours I was still only 9.5 cm dilated. 20 hours into labour baby Alex came at 20.00 hr in the night on 27/01/2008 weight 7lbs 8oz.
I can't tell you how tired I was and how much this took out of me...but I am here now, home, safe and healthy and hundreds of pics.So, thank you all for everything and hope you enjoy the pictures

PS: My fear was that I am going to have stitches but fortunatealy I have NONE OF THEM
