Our Pookie was the pickiest eater ever the first year (last year). We had to switch foods every few days or she'd refuse to eat, then get nauseated on an empty stomach and throw up. We went through every food we could think of. She would only eat a few Wee Gold kibbles here and there, not enough for a growing pup. We made her little ground chicken patties, ground veal patties, ground lamb patties, chicken livers (she lasted on that slightly longer) and she'd eat Cesar's which is like a fast food diet for dogs, not good, but it was better than starvation. We also sent for the dehydrated whole grain and veggie premix that you add your own meat to.

Finally, around a year, she decided she liked Wellness canned (green can) containing lamb and fish and yams (sounds disgusting but she loved it) and ate it for months. Then she got an allergy to that, so now she's on Royal Canin non-allergic with potato and duck. She's still itching though, so don't know how long that will last. We may go back to the dehydrated grain, veggie, add-your-own-meat diet. That was pretty easy, since you just simmer the dehydrated stuff for a while and then add your own meat--raw or cooked.

But she's a lot less fussy now that she's older.
