That's sad about him being so overweight, but I've seen it happen to other dogs as well. I'm sure with a good diet and exercise, he'll trim down in no time.
I hope that the liver values are wrong, and if not, that it's something that can be remedied easily. He's a really cute little guy! Good luck.
