Girl! What were you doing eating Now & Laters when you have a crown??!!! Okay, fussing over (but I had to do it)...... I understand completely. I have crowns and have to stay away from that kind of candy but it's SO hard that I have given in a time or two and sucked a Now & Later. But it's SO hard to not bite them, isn't it??
Not sure what to tell you except that unfortunately, they can't just "put a crown back on". You'll need a new one. At least that's what I think I've been told. I know that sucks because I'm looking to get one more (the only molar not crowned already) before too long and my oldest crown is now almost 20 years old and that's about the "life expectancy" of them. I just pray for the best because I certainly can't afford one right now.
Try the glue stuff someone mentioned (didn't know that existed!) until you can get to the dentist. I do feel your pain though regarding going to one.
