it is an educated guess, using a chart, size of parnets, and sometimes just knowledge of past pups from same parnets. Yes,some grow early, some later- some breeders know which of their pups are the fast growers, ect. But no one is ever for sure!
your dog is 15lbs now- there is a link for a growth chart on here- sorry, i am not sure of it! but what were the parnets size??
