Turtle is 11 months old and every time we visited our friends and family who owned small dogs he had a ball. So, we decided to buy Turtle a dog.
A week ago we drove to a breeder about 1 hour away in SC and found Duckie! :Puppy:
She really seemed to love Turtle. She kept following Turtle around (and still does). The first 2 or 3 days I was surprised to find that Turtle was acting like a jealous older sibling. He wanted nothing to do with her and was angry when we gave her attention. But, now he is quickly getting back to normal

. I love to watch them run around and play.
I do have a question that I hope you can help with

. I have been brushing Duckie every day but by the end of the day she seems to have new matts

. Not just tangles but matts. I don't have time to brush them both more than once a day. Is there anything else I can do?
Here are some pictures:
Even though Duckie is just 3 months old, she already looks bigger than Turtle. She loved her crate immediately and likes to spend time in it Turtle with his new shaved look. My husband posing with Duckie and Turtle. Duckie asleep Duckie awake Duckie chillin
