I don't think I could do what you're doing. I have fish - koi - and when I have to thin the herd, I have a hard time letting them go, even knowing the people to whom they're going. And those are fish - not puppies. As much as I love my fish, I love my dogs much more.

I know the care level my animals get from me ... and I can just about admit that someone else MAY give them care (almost ) as good as I do. But I worry. And I'd lose *sleep* over furbabies, wondering if they're OK, if they're getting enough to eat, if they're settling in, yada yada yada.

Your concern shows that you care ... many places are just after the almighty buck and don't give a flying fig where the pups are going or how they're doing after they get there. You've chosen well: they'll be OK.
