they are ratters (well a long time ago) so to have nose to the ground always sniffing seems to make sense
Layla is ALWAYS sniffing on a walk.... while we might not go fast i know she is loving every minute of it! She is also a digger... if we have blankets on the couch she will dig in them... also just part of the breed
