What blood test did your vet do that showed "high"? If it was only a basic blood panel and her liver values (ALT) were elevated, she needs to have a bile acids test done to see if she has a shunt or MVD. It isn't a good idea to just "wait and see" about a possible shunt.
A bile acids test is very inexpensive, $40-80 depending on where you live. |
