I have always been very careful with my smaller dogs.We had a golden retriever that ate kibbles and bits most of her life, and she also got a lot of table scraps(she lived to be 18 and then had her put down because of cancer), but, I made the mistake of giving her dark meat(turkey) one year, and can you say bad diarrhea?? LOL(I had her in the house that night, and lets say I didn't wake up to a very pleasant sight
