Actually, even though it is pronounced Beaver, the ones here in the US, I call bewers, as it sounds nicer...When I go talking about my little beaver, well, people look at you kind of strange..My hubby said, we don't live in Germany, so pronounce it like you would here in the states..so, that's what I do..
