LOL, I was behind a lady in the grocery a few weeks ago and she was paying with a check. I was shocked (and a little indignant that it was taking so long
). I have to write checks to pay for school events or donations and girl scout events and my bug guy and I also used to pay my cleaning lady with one if I was short on cash. So I guess they do still come in handy.
