I am a big believer in my dogs eating a healthy holistic diet - lots of fresh organic meat , raw vegetables and fruit . Both my Lhasa and Shih Tzu are rescues , their coats were in terrible condition - so I really had to work hard to get them up to my standard . I don't mind a little fish oil in the diet , it gives nice shine to the coat . I think the more you brush the coat , the better it will look . I wash and condition once a week without fail . Oh , and I sleep with my brushes -lol . Sarah
