Yes, but the few like I was talking about in my post are still listed as indecency with a minor and most still think that always means rape.
After 10 years a sex offender who has not had any problems and has shown that they are no threat can petition the court to be removed from the registry, but im not sure about any of the other charges like the DUI you mentioned. But no I do not think a DUI should be common knowledge either unless it was a serious problem.
