Thanks, you guys! I did it in steps. First, I taught him to drop it into my hand. That took a couple days. Then I put my hand over a nerf hoop. I gradually moved my hand out of the way. He was doing that in about 3 days of practice total. He learrned the tube trick easily. Now I'm having him climb up his doggysteps and shoot it. He likes that, but he's a lousy shot!
