When I was 12, we got him from a petstore on my birthday (April 8th). We didn't know about puppy mills at the time, and didn't learn about them until the next week, when my mom joined on here. He started having seizures, and we took him to our vet who checked him out. He didn't know what was wrong with him, and Bandit seemed to be better. a couple days later, he had another one. We took him to the emergency vet. He said it might be a brain tumor or a neurological (spelling) problem, and he was going to have us bring him to a specialist in the next few days. The next day, we took him in for bloodwork. That night around 10, he went into a horrible seizure and my dad ran him to the Emergency Vet. They couldn't get him out of it, and he ended up having to be put to sleep. Later that night, the blood results came back, and he had liver shunt.
We only had him for a little over a month, but its amazing how attached you can get in such a short time.
