Bruce is even worse, but he has many many dental health issues! He hates the doggie toothpaste and hates the brush even more! All we are able to accomplish is brushing off a couple of teeth a day with warm water and the brush that slips over my finger. Otherwise he bites fingers hard!!! To make up for this I have decided that Bruce will have his teeth ultrasonicly cleaned as reccomended by his dentist and I give greenies every other day (only feed these under supervision). We are also trying Nolvadent Dentifrice solution that kills plague & bacteria in the mouth as a rinse everyday. Basically I hold his head steady and give it a squirt everyday. Not as good as brushing but it helps! |
