The truth of the matter is that even if both dogs are fixed the fighting might not stop. Dogs are just like humans from the standpoint, they don't all like each other. I had two male rescues that were both neutered and I always had to keep an eye on them, even 2 years later. When they got into it, one was going to kill the other. Best advise at this point is to keep them separated when you leave, watch for signs that create the fights (in my case it was toys-so no toys in the house) and try to step in when you see one circling the other or putting their neck over the others neck.
