 Overweight 5 month old puppy
Oh my goodness, so we brought home the new baby, he is about 2lbs overweight for his breed and size and frame. Seems the breeder didnt starve him but let him eat a lot and anything he wanted. Will be taking him to the vet on Monday for a full work thru, blood, stool and the works. Since I dont know if this weight has affected his wittle body, is it ok to cut back on what he is eating to get him unused to eating so much? I will be feeding him same as Bandit chicken rice, pasta and carrots mainly and some kibble mixed in |
