Does not do coat color, genetic diseases, coat length, color patterns etc. So a Parti Yorkie, Biewer or regular Yorkie tests the same at this point in those tests. Don't be fooled into giving your money for a test that says...yup, Yorkie.

Parti Yorkies have coloration randomly. Biewers have an established pattern and strict standard.

Perhaps this should be moved to a new thread? I love discussing the breeds....BTW I still have my heart tied to Yorkies and can't live without them.
Hi Carolyn,

We probably could start a new thread....

The MARS test has established Biewers as a separate breed from the Yorkie.
Thus, it could be accepted into ARBA. Three show clubs/venues/ organizations lead the way into AKC and ARBA is one of them. The other two are UKC and FSS. The Biewer Terrier Club of America (BTCA) is serious about testing and discovering the heritage of the Biewers.
