Her pictures make me want to cry

Lacy has grade 3 in her right leg and grade 2 in her left leg and I'm so worried she'll need surgery one day. Breeders have got to start getting their dogs patellas cleared before breeding and stop breeding dogs with LP (even only grade 1). It may not be life-threatening, but it can be painful and is an expensive and traumatic surgery. I truly believe LP could be bred out of dogs if breeders would carefully screen all of their dogs...but of course that will most likely never happen. I just feel so bad for dogs with LP..I worry about Lacy's little knees a lot

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
