I would give him a bath in Dawn dish soap and that should kill all the live ones. The maybe use something on your carpet? If all natural remedies fail I would ask the if they could recommend a pyrethrin (not permethrin) because they are some of the safer pesticides but I'm not sure what flea treatments are made from it. If all else fails I would probably go to Frontline but I agree. The less chemicals the better. I don't use any flea products at the moment and Ellie is flea free.
