You know that most religious people think they know the truth and there can be no discussion about it - I guess scientologists are no exeption...

I had a client the other day who said "Well, we know Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and that's not up for debate. That's a fact and can't be changed"
No use in trying to change that persons mind - this issue is obviously very important to her and trying will only be a waste of time. And at the same time it would be disrespecting that person.
Tom Cruise is entitled to his opinion but he doesn't see it as an opinion, but as the truth - and that's a problem.

Honestly I think a statement like that would piss me off too, be it TC or anyone who made it...

I think it is amazing that we can talk about things like this even though we are not sitting across from each other - it warms me
