My vet says the shot is less risky also...
I have never left my baby at the groomers. Good thing too, I saw how he was treated through the pet smart window and have never gone back! It took 3 poeple to hold down a 3 pound dog!!! He had to have his nails trimmed and the hair around his eyes trimmed. He was scared to death poor baby. After that I went to a kind groomer who let me stay and help hold him. I watched how she did things and decided to groom myself. I have ever since except the nails. My vet now trims them. This groomer at pet smart that I did like told me to NEVER LEAVE YOUR DOG AT THE GROOMERS...and she was a groomer. She said she has seen MANY BABIES HIT THE FLOOR AND THE OWNER NEVER GETS TOLD!!!
She didn't always work at a pet smart, so this is coming from a groomer that is in her 40's and has been around a bit.
