My groomers have a beautiful little shop and it is very clean, but they cannot know what the dogs will bring in so I think it is very important that they have the bordetella, which isn't really a shot, but given up their nose. Better safe than sorry, Kennel Cough can be very dangerous and hard to get rid of especially in our little guys.
My baby just contracted Kennel cough FROM the bordetella vaccine. I posted about it in the health section. She got the intra-nasal dose. I have been told the injection is less risky.
