Royal Canin does cause that in some Yorkies. I don't recommend it. Pedigree is a terrible food, so if you want to give canned I would look for a different one. Probably Evangers and Merrick are the best. Contrary to popular opinion, canned food is absolutely fine to give all the time. Whatever you feed it is important to brush your dog's teeth.

Some good kibbles are Canidae, Innova, Wellness, Chicken Soup... It is really whatever works for your dog. You will just have to keep experimenting. Once you are sure you're done with a bag of food you could donate it to an animal shelter instead of just throwing it away.

If you are willing to homecook, one of the members here got a recipe from a dog nutritionist for IBD/Colitis. It might work for you. It is white fish (tilapia...), mashed potatoes and green beans. You will have to supplement if you do this for more than a few days. Maybe try PMing her... Her user name is Wylie'sMom.
