Aww Edith, I totally agree girl! I know just what you mean as I used to be on another forum also (not dog related) and MAN OH MAN would those people GO AT IT!!!!
I mean it was 24/7 over there....that's ALL they did was pick, pick, pick....and name call, etc. It got VERY annoying and VERY old....VERY quick!
I never got into any of the bickering, although I do remember telling people every now and then that they needed to just SHUT IT
but I always stayed out of all the arguing, because it was just totally pointless
Someone would ask a question, and get jumped on....someone would post and say how their day was going, and someone else would jump in and tell them how stupid their post was or whatever...OMG, it was just incredibly RIDICULOUS!
Members from that board actually made what they called a "bash board" - which was a separate board that THEY created so that they could bad mouth the owner of the other board, and the members there. Just crazy!
The link was supposed to be this big dumb "secret"
but someone I knew that had the link gave it to me and I went and peeked at the board and WOW!!!!
I honestly don't think those people had SOULS. The things they said there were truly BEYOND name calling and just being childish - they were actually being very, very graphic with what they said - some of it actually quite scary. And these people were all WOMEN....some of them mothers - it was just very, very strange.
ANYWAY - sorry for rambling LOL. I just wanted to post and say that I totally get what you mean about YT being such a great place to be
I remember a few times when members here have posted about the board being "out of hand" with people at each others throats, etc., but after being a member of the board that I was on (and let me just say, it had nowhere NEAR the amount of members we have here, so it was a much SMALLER site even!), and after seeing what I saw there....TRUST ME - this place is like heaven on earth.
I love it here!
