Just wanted to say if you use cotton balls, you may want to consider wash cloths... even better baby wash cloths. When my baby (skin) had an eye infection the dr. told us to use cotton balls.. since you can just throw them out and they are one time use "sanitary".. this went on for 4 months.. he finally got old enough for the EYE dr.. and he said never use cotton balls or anything of the liking.. even if you don't see it, the fibers can get in the eye, irritate it, and just make it worse. Could be the same for dogs?? Their eyes could produce more "gunk" to help protect them from foreign objects??
