I don't know how anyone could stand to own an unaltered cat...it may be manageable in dogs, but a total nuisance in cats.

Inside cats: Females CONSTANTLY go into heat...they basically stay in heat until bred. Males spray everything

Outside cats: Females are bred constantly...producing a ton of kittens which in turn multiply themselves. Males constantly breed females - they roam and fight other males. Unaltered cats do not last long outside on average

Unaltered cats are a complete nuisance...I can only understand having one if you are a cat breeder. At least female dogs only go into heat once-twice a year...and there are leash laws so dogs *shouldn't be roaming*. There are no leash laws for cats...

There is no reason to not alter a cat unless you are purposely breeding them. Not only for health benefits, but also because unaltered cats are VERY hard to live with

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
