I'd say baby-proof your house as much as possible. If they want to jump off the back of the couch, string a net up behind it (badminton net might work). If they jump off tables, put a sponge pad under it or those sponge tiles they use for kids gyms around it. Put bumpers on the table legs (you can buy the foam pipe insulation for cheap and just cut it open). I'm thinking of putting a decorative macrame type net from our banister overlooking the landing up to the ceiling. It's a 12 foot fall down to the landing. |
