I think we all agree that the number one priority is health of our yorkies and those we produce...That being said ...A yorkie with beautiful movement and great structure is one with a sound body...Often times a dog high in the rear is also suffering from poor knees...The whole outside appearance is part of the whole picture of the Yorkie...

I did not start out showing but I did sit ringside for about 5 years or more watching, comparing, and learning...Then we started exhibiting, getting to know some yorkie show folks, getting the opportunity to actually feel the structure of other yorkies...Learning from others with more experience than myself...It all has been very beneficial and we have gained so much from it all...It really helps to develop your eye for evaluating your dogs...

It is our responsibility to make the breed we have chosen and love to be the best it can be!...Their future is in our hands!
