Hi, 2 sounds like a good age to bring in another one. I waited until Zander was a bit over 1, I wanted to make sure that he was potty trained so the new one would learn from him, and that he understood the command Quiet, so that the new one would not take off barking when he did it. In July 2007, we brought home, little bundle of energy! Jazzie!! Zander came to LIFE, he was sooo happy to have a pup chase him and he chases her, and they play, and they snuggle and best of all She learned to potty so much quicker than he did,
phew! The bell on the back door for her to ring is a major plus too. Give treats immediately after pup going 1 or 2.

. My hubby had said nooo, to a new pup. I smiled, eventually I came home with Jazzie and surprised him, his reaction - what! did you do??!! she sat on his lap and licked his hands, oooh please, he melted like butta' !!
I've caught him cradling her like a baby!!
