That breaks my heart. Growing up we had a local pet store, and rather than buying from breeders, they raised them themselves and if you had a gerbil or guinea pig that had babies they would buy the babies (for about 2 or 3 dollars probably) but the conditions were so much better they were played with and loved. One of the owners was actually a vet and her pets came to work often so they weren't alone...It was such a far cry from Petsmart, It just breaks my heart to see those videos.
