I'm not really surprise. Everyone shops there (petco and the others, also) because they don't sell dogs/cats but no one never questions them about the smaller animals (guinea pigs, mouse, ferrets, hamsters, etc.).. I'm pretty sure each individual store doesn't have a small breeder to supply them with an amount of animals. It would be more sufficient for a large breeder to supply all of the stores.... No one really thinks about that because they love dogs/cats more and don't really care about the animals that don't have and won't get. Again, not surprise!
